Exponential Growth

Lately I’ve been obsessed with the idea of the power of exponential growth. When you show up consistently with energy and focus on your most important next step; the growth is staggering. In a basketball sense, if Day 1 you have a great workout. Thats one step forward. If you then take that growth of your Day 1 workout and complete your day 2 workout than thats doubling where you were at just two days before. So a month of consistent workouts isn’t just 30 steps past your original starting point. With exponential growth you can travel 3 times around the globe in just 30 days. (Yes, 1 step, 2 steps, 4 steps, 8 steps, etc) Now when we are not consistent you don’t just stop your steps forword but you take steps back. So if Day 1 was a great workout, Day 2 you slept, then Day 3 your back to your original starting point. Now this of course isn’t perfect science and a metaphor to think about… There will be some days where it’s important to rest or take an off day but let’s take a minute to imagine your goals if you showed up consistently with focus day after day. Let’s dooooo this!
