Success Does Not Matter Commitment Does

Ultimately as we prepare for a game or life we can only control what we can control. Again I’ll repeat, we can only control what we can control. If you are committed to something than the results will come you don’t have to worry about your current or future success.

If someone handed you a NBA championship ring without any work would it really mean anything? Not so much. It’s the commitment that matters, the playing when it’s hard, the commitment to improving even after tough losses, the commitment to your family, teammates and loved ones during good times and bad. Success is fleeting what actually makes us feel good is sticking to our commitments that matter most.

So having goals is awesome. Achieving success is amazing. Ultimately though just focus on the process, and answer how can you be more committed to what is most important to you?
