Bring it On

Embracing the idea of “Bring it on” can be the difference between a great player and someone who has the skills but can’t figure out why their not taking their game to that next level. Playing against an older team, feeling exhausted, Coach getting on your nerves, people doubting you, you’ve missed 5 shots in a row, the best defender in the league guarding you, etc.. the same mantra works for all of these circumstances.

“Bring it On!”

This simple phrase changes your brain chemistry to get excited about finding ways to get better from a challenge instead of finding ways to hide and be scared of challenges. Whether it was Curry who was told he wasn’t athletic enough ( so he became the best shooter of all time, a top handle of all time, the best conditioned athlete in the nba, and mastered his craft so much that he literally changed the geometry of the NBA and how its played), Jordan who was cut from the Varsity team ( so he became the greatest competitor of all time, and figured how to use negative energy as incredible fuel), or Lebron who was doubted as a high school phenom ( so he became the standard of how to be a professional in the NBA, and changed the entire mindset of young athletes, and the first active player to a Billion).

We can see to become great you need obstacles! You need challenges to become the player/person you want to be. The HERO needs the journey. So when an obstacle arises lets skip the complaining and say BRING IT ON.
